Hung out with a chick last night who then blogged about our evening.  Ladies: when you come to Rogier’s house, we are going to be spending some time checking out the youtube videos of one Kenneth Donald Rogers. That’s just the way it’s going to be— I need approximately 20 minutes of Kenny’s husky baritone before foreplay to sustain an erection.

When Dolly was singing with Kenny you could see that they knew they were two legendary, amazing people on a stage together. “Let’s give ‘em a treat, ol gal”, Kenny’s eyes were saying with each Rogers twinkle. Our rendition was terrible, but we’ll get better at it.

This girl has a lot of baggage.  Rough life, ex husbands, kids, etc.  But look at that! Look at that poetic, effortless word-sketch of Kenny.  Before this I had considered myself the foremost Kenny chronicler of our time, but this girl is such a natural. She paints Kenny easily without the benefit of my decades of study in Kennyology.

She may be a fitting vessel for my future son.  Kenny Rogiers.
